Private Individuals

All tax-payers having reached 18 years of age have the legal obligation to file an annual tax return online. Exempt from this obligation are persons who are financially dependent (students under 25 years of age, single individuals with a mental handicap of at least 67% etc). The same obligation also applies to tax residents abroad in the event they receive income in Greece.

Other than filing annual tax returns, private individuals may also be called upon to make suitable arrangements pertaining to loans, debt repayment settlement plans, subsidies, leases, securities, fees, proof of tax exemption and procedures for not incurring additional taxation etc.
